The point of this deck is to relish in Rex's ability to gather extra clues to quickly burn through objectives. With a 4 intellect you can leverage it pretty well with cards like Flashlight and Magnifying Glass to just burn through investigations. Hyperawareness and Dr. Milan Christopher can be a solid engine as well especially with "Watch this!".

For getting out your Assets cards like Eureka and watch this will keep you rolling easily. If you ever get into a dicey situation, "I've got a plan!" is there to try to force damage while Cunning Distraction and Elusive are there to get you out of a tight spot.

Deck works best when backed up by a strong combative type as you can just walk through all the investigations and push forward. Using things like seeking answers to investigate at low shroud locations to gain 2-3 clues from high shroud locations instead.

I'm fairly new to the game and this is one of my first deck ideas so please feel free to give input.

Opportunist and "Watch this!" are quite meh, since the skill icons they offer is quite limiting. Might I recommend you look into Burglary instead? Rex can use Burglary to grab 3 resources off of a location and if he succeeds well enough, also a clue!

I thought that burglary said that if you gain resources you cannot gain clues and took that to mean you couldn't gain any clues, including rex's bonus clues.

@CavaraBurglary’s ‘instead of gaining clues’ means from the investigation (which is why Deduction and other ‘additional clue’ effects don’t work with it), but Rex’s ability doesn’t give an ‘additional clue’ - it lets you discover a clue from his ability after succeeding an investigation test by 2 or more (which you can do with Burglary).
