This deck relies on playing, replacing and finding assets. Where possible it uses effects that rely on willpower by adding willpower to a test or replacing a test with a willpower test. It aims to fill every asset slot and ramp up over time. (Tarot added next time I get xp)

Sixth sense is great as it has no charges with a possible free move and using willpower for investigate. Also the as if at location can be the key location. Wither a no charges damage spell, can be replaced if sword cane in play. Mists is a 4 charge evade using willpower spell and another possible free move. Sword cane can also work for evading once it is out. Considered replacing Mists with 1xp cost Suggestion from Rogue later.

I was troubled by three Arcane and only two slots but the idea is to get the three key mechanics covered using the sword cane for two of them.

I then wanted spells with add willpower not replace with willpower for a +5 boost. Ethereal form, Read the signs and Spectral razor add willpower stat to the usual stat for the test meaning a basic plus 5. All can drop onto the crystallizer for reuse as skill test buffs.

Molly Maxwell makes finding unique trait items possible. Treat her as a duplicate copy of cards you can delve for with her. She is also an Asset that can be discarded for replacement when no longer useful. She can delve for the following unique traits;

Skeleton key - Cursed - Benefits all players.

Robes of endless night - Clothing - Make spell casting cheaper and a small damage soak (repair with Lonnie)

Lonnie Ritter- Ally - Damage soak to replace Molly when she is less useful, fix your robes. Combat buff benefits fight when using add willpower to fight checks.

Pickpocketing - Illicit - Get more cards for evading Shares "Talent" with Arcane Studies used to boost skill checks.

Scroll of Prophecies - Tome - Draw more cards get the setup early _use to discard unspeakable oath. (confirmed not possible)

_ Sword cane/Crystallizer - Relic - Sword lets you use willpower for fight or evade once per turn. Crystallizer lets you reuse event/spells as skill check boosters. If guardian is pulled can recycle this with Dexter ability into another asset to remove Guardian.

With the robes, Uncage soul and Dexter able to play assets cheaper by discarding others, resources should not be an issue. Only Lonnie needs regular resources for her ability, everything else is reusable or one shot (with possible added crystallizer effect to boost skill checks)

Other choices are mainly utility, Ward of Protection and Deny Existence for treachery. Quantum flux for recycling the discards. If the Scroll, Pickpocketing and Molly eat through your deck too fast.

Suggestions comments appreciated as only my second deck built. Eg what would be first priority with Molly if you didn't have it ? Scroll, Robes, Sword, Key or a spell?

I'm not sure Lonnie Ritter is a great choice. She only has one target, is pretty expensive for a deck that is going to be slow on resources (although the robes help), although she has decent soak. There are just so many good and Allies out there! I think David Renfield is good in Dexter, as he provides a lot of resources and is easily dismissed on the Witching Hour. Arcane Initiate would help with spell draw, Leo De Luca is probably too expensive, but fantastic.

Arcane Studies also seems like a problem due to low resource generation. Maybe another spell event or some resource generation?

Have you thought about upgrades? Shining Trapezohedron seems like a good choice for Dexter, to let him play spell events and save his resources for his item churn. Maybe Word of Command to get the right tool out of the toolbox at the right moment.....

I don't think you can use Scroll of Prophecies to discard Unspeakable Oath. As far as I'm aware, Hidden cards are only allowed to be discarded by the requirements of the card. At least, that's what stated in the section on "Hidden" in the Carcosa campaign guide.

XSHagrath is correct; you can discard Weaknesses randomly (e.g. from Diabolic Voices or Brown Jenkin's ability), but you can't choose to discard a Weakness (unless, I think, it is your only valid target -- so if you must discard 3 cards from your hand and you only have 3 or fewer cards, you can (and must?) discard all of them, Weaknesses or no).
