Took Jenny through NotZ on Standard difficulty solo, while testing a deck I’m prepping for my first ever Dunwich play through with my wife.
Play History: We’ve played 2-player NotZ together once on easy (Roland and Wendy starters), and Murder at the Excelsior three times (Skids/Daisy, Jackie/Harvey, Winni: Stella). Solo, I’ve played NotZ five times now (Daisy, Skids, Winni, and twice now with Jenny) and Excelsior once (Winni).
My card pool is one core, full Dunwich, and the five solo investigator decks.
I played a jankier version of this deck previously and did great on Gathering, okay on Masks (2 cultists) and poor on Devourer (defeated).
This time I tried to balance things better and did great on Gathering, well on Masks (4 cultists!), and okay on Devour (Bye, Lita!). And had it not been for a pair of Ancient Evils and a Wizard of the Order I think had a good shot at pulling off an R1 ending :)
