This deck is all about throwing curse tokens into the chaos bag when the time is right and using them to over-succeed at whatever you need to do well at.

Swap your spells as you need but you should be able to hold two at a time usually.

If you can manage it, keep an Alchemical Transmutation in play to help you pay for the more expensive spells. Even with a Robes of Endless Night or an Uncage the Soul discount, you'll want extra resources to be able to swap assets as needed. And even if Alchemical Transmutation is empty of uses or you don't have the actions to spare to use it, it can be discarded using your power to discount another asset by 1 and put it into play. Your Familiar Spirit or Sign Magick can be discarded by your power to put out something really needed in the moment -- at a discount -- at the cost of reduced options.

If you only have one Arcane slot, though: Are all the monsters defeated for the moment and you need to figure out the ritual? Swap out that Armageddon for Eye of Chaos. Have you found what you're looking for and now you have to evade impossible monsters to reach the exit? Swap out that Eye of Chaos for Shroud of Shadows. Do you really need to fight the monster instead of evading it? Swap out that Shroud of Shadows for Armageddon. These spells are expensive so they'll need extra resources to be swapped effectively. Try to keep a pool if you can.

Remember your power to discard/swap assets doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. It just discards the card you get rid of.

Do you really need more curse tokens in the bag AND also need resources? Time for a Faustian Bargain. Speaking of which, get Leo De Luca out ASAP when you can if you need to do one thing really well (like spam attack or spam investigate or spam evade). Otherwise, use your Ally slot for your Familiar Spirit to remain adaptable.

Keep Promise of Power for when you really need to succeed at a test (or really need to help someone else at your location succeed). You can use this card to mitigate up to one preexisting curse for another player on their turn (since it's a +4 and you add another curse token to the chaos bag -- at worst it breaks even) while also adding another curse token to the bag to set up your turn if they don't draw it.

Don't worry about the curse tokens hurting others on their turns too much; you'll be benefiting from them a lot and that will usually make up for any minor pain they cause others. Tempt Fate can mitigate that a bit on someone else's turn but it's best to try to use the chaos bag as much as possible on a turn when you've added curse tokens. And only add them when they'll benefit you wrt to your spells and what you're trying to do.
