TEACHER DECK?
The “Teacher Decks” are meant to provide an easy to explain decklist for an experienced player, with a full collection(up to the Edge of the Earth release), to give to a new player to show teach the game with.
Note that these decks aren’t super optimized or efficient like many of the decklists around here. That’s because it would defeat the point of these teacher decks. I’m just giving a solid platform to learn the game with.
It can be hard enough to learn the ins and outs of this game, lets not make it harder on ourselves by getting ahead of ourselves shall we?
These will generally include an overview of the deck, what it should be teaching, and some suggestions and thoughts on upgrades for the deck.
OVERVIEW Pint-sized cluever, with some tricks to kill a few enemies.
Between Lockpicks(1) and Granny Orne(3), you should have a steady rate of incoming clues. “Look what I found!”and Pilfer will help you go faster, and is valuable on harder shroud locations. Pilfer in particular will greatly benefit from the safety Granny Orne(3), Live and Learn, and Wendy’s ability provide.
She is also capable of removing threats. Backstab and sneak attack gets you through a large number of non elites, and coup de grace allows Wendy to easily remove low health enemies like acolytes.
UPGRADE
Start by upgrading to Lockpicks(1), Granny Orne(3), and Easy Mark(1).
Nothing Left to Lose(3) is a perfect way to jumpstart Wendy’s hand and resources.
Plucky(3) is a good way to demonstrate how “resource pump cards” work.
Pickpocketing(2) will greatly benefit your general economy.
