  • Ice Pick level 3 + Scavenging + Duke is a crazy combo with a recurring Schoffner's Catalogue to pay for it all
  • Drawing Thin + Track Shoes combo is free economy.
  • Bandages + Peter + Scavenging gives infinite sustain
  • Lucky Cigarette Case is the draw needed to sustain duke
  • Upgrades beyond Ice Pick 3 just make the deck slightly more efficient. Cornered is really good once the deck is running.

I'm using this one at the moment. This Ashcan Pete helped Daisy Walker in the Parallel Daisy Walker stand alone scenario Read or Die and did really well, although Pete nearly ran out of cards (not a good thing in that scenario). Daisy and Pete also just finished the first Dunwich Horror scenario and was very close to taking being knocked eliminated from too much horror. But they were successful - just! Thanks for this. A big part of their success was Pete's ability to also investigate and gain clues.

@Trickster61Glad to hear it worked out. I never really thought people would be using this deck when I published it for my Wife to reference during our run of Path to Carcosa, but I am happy to see others being able to make use of the information. Make sure to grab those Ice Pick (3)s for the recursion with scavenging. That's when the deck should really start to accelerate. So far the weakness of this deck seems to be that Pete sucks at any test that isn't a test with Duke, but I think that's just par for the course with Pete.

Lucky Pete can easily ready Duke for action! And I always have a lot of resources which is handy. I did pick up the level 3 icepicks but weirdly enough in the second game both Icepick cards were put into the discard pile at the start of the game due to the effect of Short Supply. :)
