I think you really need a Backpack - I understand you want to do multiple jobs as well as saving xp on assets. So just pick backpack (2). It would help a lot.
You are a selfless guy by taking Martyr's Vambrace! Also take Ward of Protection to protect yourself (and some critical encounter cards like Ancient Evils are test-free so you won't have the chance to pass). Maybe Ward of Radiance? I am not sure.
Seems that you need more some sanity soak, because you would draw more encounter cards than your partners, and it is SK campaign.
Not to mention Ever Vigilant to support your friends, but I think you must already know it :)
