Roland punches dudes with boxing gloves and searches for spirits. While searching for spirits, he gets money to play those spirits by triggering astounding revelations. If you don't get the gloves, try a backpack or prepared for the worst to get the gloves and also astounding money.
2 physical traumas with Ittoi let's you get 2 copies of Brand of C'thuga which is a nice backup weapon for those rare moments where you don't want to punch dudes, and so are grenades later in the campaign. Galvanize lets you punch more dudes and search for more cards.
