This is a super basic Akachi deck, particularly designed with people who have never played Akachi before in mind.
This deck features 4 different arcane slot spells. You only have 2 slots, so at most you will hopefully have 2 different ones out at a time. This will help you make good use of your passive ability and also counter your weakness. Rite and Shrivelling is the main Akachi combo, but Mists is in as an alternative to handling your enemies. Drawn to the Flame will help you get clues for your team and Storm of Spirits can clear mobs of enemies if everything comes together perfectly. Holy Rosary will help you pass all of these, by raising your Will to a mighty 6.
Arcane Initiate will be your main ally play in order to draw cards. Most of this deck is spells. One third of this deck is spells, so you should be triggering a card draw off this ally almost every time.
Flashlight and the Chthonian Stone are included in order to make use of the hand slots. The Chthonian Stone can take away a bad modifier and hopefully help you a little bit as a Mystic by sealing away one of the tokens that can cause a "backfire" effect on many of your spell cards. While the goal is to investigate with Rite of Seeking, Flashlight is available in case you need to investigate but don't have a Spell. While Akachi's intellect is low, you can still safely investigate locations with a shroud of 2 or less by using a supply on Flashlight. With luck and some committed cards, shrouds of 3 or 4 might also be in your grasp.
Uncage the Soul will help you pay for your Storm of Spirits, Shrivelling, or Rite of Seekings.
A full suite of Skill cards will help you evade or pass Spell skill tests as needed.
Overall, this deck is intended to be a very simple deck that makes good use of what Akachi is best at - plentiful reliable tests on arcane slot spells.
