Ashcan Pete is not the hero of this team, and that's exactly how I wanted to build him.
Rather than excelling at one specific job, Pete and Duke are always looking for whoever needs help most. One moment they're picking up clues, the next they're distracting an enemy, protecting a teammate, or simply being where they're needed. They don't compete with the specialists; they make the specialists better.
Every card in this deck was chosen with that idea in mind: consistency over flashy combos, reliable tools over risky plays, and enough flexibility to adapt to whatever the campaign throws at us. Duke is the heart of the deck, and Pete's job is simply to make sure his loyal companion is always ready for the next adventure.
This is our first self-built deck, so any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'd especially love to hear if there are cards that better support this "help wherever needed" playstyle.
