This card seems useful for all of those times when you have a Gatling Gun, a few extra resources, and a lot of... "Friends" that need to be taught a lesson in civility.

A one ? skill is kind of blah, but for a single resource it get +200% better. That is money well spent.

Too pricey for most decks but decent in big money decks. At 2 exp, it compares pretty unfavorably to something like Savant which only costs 1 exp, usually gives 2-4 wild but for no resource cost and both cover similar classes. But if you start spending 2 or 3 resources you basically get an auto success which compares similarly to Justify the Means which is 3 exp and also had a downside but is an auto success.

Yeah, this only makes sense in big money or oversucceed decks. Because with all the constraints it just shows how OP Inquiring Mind is. — AlderSign · 453

There's a number of conditional 3+ skills, and their restrictiveness of their conditions varies. for 1 resource you get a Crack Shot, Inquiring Mind, or Take the Initiative with no other restrictions beyond spending that 1 resource.

That's already a good card! But Double Down lets you put in more resource for more icons. How much would you be willing to pay to commit Last Chance (3) to any test without restrictions? because I'm pretty sure I'd pay 2~3 resources for the right to do that, and that's what this card does.

This is Promise of Power levels of good, and I think you should at least consider it for inclusion if you're playing one of the ~14 investigators who can take the card.
