This build is intended for a four-investigator group. It therefore has a specialty focus: combat in this case (18 cards, plus Roland's .38 Special). A secondary focus is automatic clue gathering (4 cards and Roland's investigator ability).
Most enemies require multiple actions to defeat in combat, so action economy is important. There are 6 fast cards, 2 Police Badges, and a whopping 12 skill cards. Most of the skill cards can replace themselves on a successful check, speeding access to key cards such as Machete.
The extensive selection of skill cards also make this deck a good team player.
What this deck doesn't do is make much money. I've omitted Physical Training and tried to limit other expensive cards for that reason. Yes, there are still a couple of sticks of Dynamite Blast in there. Sometimes you just need to explode all the things.
For a 0 XP version of this deck, consider swapping in a few copies of Knife for Police Badge and downgrade a Beat Cop.
