Eye in the Sky

Gloria is all about controlling the encounter deck. You know how you normally wonder what horrible thing the mythos phase will throw at you that you won't be prepared for? Well what if you could not only see what's coming, but choose who gets to deal with it? Gloria does that.

Alyssa Graham is your bedrock here. Mulligan for her. You don't need to use the doom ability because it is already cooked into Gloria. You just want the look (which allows you to see 2 cards instead of just 1) which you can do as a fast action every single turn. Amazing.

Also very important, and why you start every scenario with 2 sanity damage, is Astronomical Atlas. This is a high priority card. It lets you double dip your skill cards and use regular cards for pips without discarding them. Some included are Fearless to help recover that sanity damage you start with and Enraptured to put more charges on scrying. Normally this card isn't used much due to needing to pass a investigate test, but Gloria is quite good at investigation and can easily use it.

Scrying is for deeper looks as well as searching for key investigator cards if needed.

Upgraded Parallel Fates lets you see two and a third turns into the future and Foresight is for when you know something bad is coming up. Just give it to yourself, and foresight makes it go away.

Spectral Razor and Azure Flame are not the bedrock of this deck. Ideally, Yorick will be handling enemies, but they for an emergency. Do not prioritize them. Scout Ahead is also included to get you out of a jam.

You can also support the team with Faustian Bargain and Delve Too Deep for resources and xp respectively.

Promise of Power is a good card in its own right, but consider saving it for Yorick's Breach the Door to trivialize high shroud locations should there be any. Darrel is very good at locations with low shroud and can get hella clues if it is 0.
