My take on what a Roland Banks list featuring Stick to the Plan might look like.

We're only running 2x Machete and 1x Roland's .38 Special as our weapons of choice as Stick to the Plan leaves no experience to spare for cards like Lightning Gun or Shotgun and .45 Automatic doesn't make the cut.

Prepared for the Worst helps us overcome our low weapon count by fetching up a copy of Machete or Roland's .38 Special on demand and thanks to Stick to the Plan our deck is three cards thinner to boot.

Our weapons only taking up one hand slot also means we don't need to waste experience on Magnifying Glass and Flashlight slots in its place. Providing great synergy with Deduction and reliably enabling us to clear Cover Up in one action when we draw it.

Emergency Cache in conjunction with Stick to the Plan means we can keep using our Flashlight for the entirety of the game or pick up the resources we so desperately need at a moment's notice.

Ever Vigilant provides outrageous amounts of value in both resource and action efficiency and thanks to Stick to the Plan it won't clog up our draws and is guaranteed to provide that value exactly when we need it.

Shortcut is great. Shortcut on demand is even better, and that's exactly what Stick to the Plan enables.

We're trying to skimp on experience so we've overlooked the upgraded version of Vicious Blow to allow us to run 2x Beat Cop whose inclusion needs no explanation.

Calling in Favors lets us both fetch and abuse our Beat Cops only to recycle them later.

The same is true for Art Student who picks up clues in difficult to investigate locations when enemies aren't around and also serves as a sacrificial horror outlet until we can drop an Elder Sign Amulet.

2x Guts, 2x Overpower and 2x Perception help us and our friends pass those pesky skill checks and cycle through our deck.

Rounding things out, "Let me handle this!" and On the Hunt make sure we draw the enemies we need to make use of Roland's ability and maximise our action efficiency.

For those interested here's a breakdown of the probability of drawing assets for a turn 1 Ever Vigilant play:

In your opening 5 card hand there is a 19% chance of drawing [at least] 3 assets, a 55% chance of drawing [at least] 2 assets, and an 89% chance of drawing [at least] 1 asset.

If you successfully drew 2 assets in your opening hand, you then have a 70% chance of drawing [at least] 1 additional asset in a 3 card mulligan. If you only drew 1 asset, you have a 46% chance of drawing [at least] 2 more assets in a 4 card mulligan and an 86% chance of drawing [at least] 1 more asset.

Assuming you completely strike out in your opening hand, you have a 69% chance of drawing [at least] 2 assets in a 5 card mulligan and a 94% chance of drawing [at least] 1 asset.

In the event you don't have a weapon in your hand after resolving your mulligan, Prepared for the Worst lets you look at the top 9 cards of your 25 card library meaning you have a 76% chance of finding [at least] one of those 3 weapons on turn 1 (the statistically worst turn for playing the card).

How do you like your chances to get to 6 xp wit so few weapons in the original deck?

Prior to upgrades you can run additional weapons.
