I want to try something different and approach deckbuilding from a higher XP starting. Using the Standalone rules you don't have to take an additional weakness up to 9 XP, and you can play whatever scenario you want. I think Another way to consider t Onto the deck itself:

This isn't a novel concept. You throw the frisbee at and tests freely, but with it gives you flexibility to use on everything. Not to mention if you actually play it, bye-bye pesky enemies.

Of course once in a while you need to go grab the frisbee. It's not a boomerang after all. And while you grab Frisbee, you can go find the other things you've been throwing away.

Dr. Milan Christopher and Emergency Cache pretty well cover your costs, and Fire Axe with Physical Training gives you a way to handle the few Elite enemies that inevitably start stacking up on nearly every single goddamn scenario.

The deck may be a little skill heavy considering the focus on Scavenging recursion, but outside of Magnifying Glass and Fire Axe there isn't much I want to keep in my hands. Perhaps swapping one of the various skills out for any of the Tomes should be considered. Like Overpower for a Medical Texts to handle Rex's low hitpoints. Especially since I can bounce Magnifying Glass to my hand whenever I'm at a clueless location.

Oh yeah there's a single Hyperawareness because I couldn't figure out how to slot any cards without consuming my precious non-Seeker/Neutral card slots. Oops.
