Introduction

First published deck using the lovely template from Valentin1331. This deck is more than competent to deal with enemies thanks to the British Bull Dog and the different Parley events and even that I was convinced that Eyes of Valusia was a Carson exclusive card, reading it more than once... Maybe having +1 to all skills on your free action and accumulating charges for later burst damage is not that bad.

[Update: Bewitching is incredible with this deck, should be a priority upgrade. More explained later]

Overview:

Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
Enemy Management: ★★★★★
Clue-getting: ★★★☆☆
Encounter protection: ★★☆☆☆
Survivability: ★★★☆☆
Economy: ★★★☆☆
Card Drawing: ★★★☆☆

Main Strategy:
  • Deck works pretty much as a usual goon deck, bring your British Bull Dog out and start shooting (extra uses if you can combo it with Sleight of Hand. But Alessandra has lots of really cool tools that she can use with her free action to deal with enemies like Persuasion, Stir the Pot, String of Curses and even Vamp

  • You don't want to kill an enemy? No problem, you still have Beguile to walk them around and use them to investigate and evade.

  • Chuck Fergus? Never used it but it looks like he could shine on this deck.

  • Alessandra has the stats to be proficient at cluevering, but if the shroud is too big, you always have ways to automatically get clues like Kicking the Hornet's Nest, String of Curses, Snitch and even Vampto some extent.

  • Snitch is incredible for clue acceleration and it can be reused with Eldritch Tongue. If you play true solo, Snitch can carry your whole clue getting but it is still very effective with two players.

  • Mulligan for any of your assets but especially for Backpack, [Fine Clothes] (/card/02272)and probably the British Bull Dog. Backpack is here because the main assets for fighting are items, it arguably it takes the body slot that is very contested with Fine Clothes but it can land it on starting hand you will be helpful.

  • I had to update this deck guide because I UNDERESTIMATED the greatness of Bewitching. The synergy of having Sleight of Hand on Bewitching and drawing it right after engaging an enemy, play it to put the British Bull Dog in play, shoot and then put the gun back in your hand is really strong. The other 2 cards for Bewitching are usually Beguile, and Vamp, but you can also put Persuasion or Stir the Pot.

  • It is worth noting that Bewitching really shines when searching for any of the cards attached rather than just drawing them. Alessandra starts with 35 cards and her drawing is a bit slow even with Lucky Cigarette Case so thinning the deck this way is really helpful.
