As Chapter 1 wraps up, I've been rushing my "I've played Lola in every campaign" checklist. This is the last one.

Luckily, it's a virtual smorgasbord of entertaining Lola decks right now with Transfiguration.

My Lola-niel Cho build punched it's way through Drowned City and now this monstrosity is committing it's way through Hemlock Vale. We added Curse of the Rougarou and Mechinations Through Time to our adventure.

This deck turns into Winifred Habbamock and uses Astronomical Atlas and Bestow Resolve to maximize Wini's ability and double up on skill card triggers.

Mulligan

Mulligan for Transfiguration, of course, and Astronomical Atlas / Research Librarian. Once we are turned into Wini, the deck will draw itself every few turns or so.

Weaknesses

I pulled Through the Gates as my basic which is pretty rough in this deck. It should explain the singleton copies of various key components. This also means I don't have extra copies of those cards for Crisis of Identity protection. The signature cards are the only cards interacting with our role, so we can try and hold onto cards to discard to protect our assets, but this is imperfect. With how often this deck draws itself, we should expect some asset atrophy as it will be difficult to shield everything. It's not the end of the world. The card will be back in a few turns.

Playstyle

As I've said many times in the past, Lola is a Survivor in disguise. Survivors tend to fit in a team like water in a glass, flexibly providing answers to whichever board state presents itself. Fight, Evade, Clue. Lola-fred can do it all and can enable her friends to to it all, too. Especially in full kit, this deck should do whatever you want during a turn.

Except Willpower tests. Just faceplant those unless Bestow Resolve has extra counters.

Drawing into and using Transfiguration is the highest priority. However, I did draw it very late in a couple scenarios and everything worked out fine. Studious the Astronomical Atlas and Friends in Low Places can all help us dig for our key piece.

This deck is not as rich as I had originally suspected it would be, which made me leave Scrapper in the buy list and take Ancestral Knowledge instead.

A note on Physical Soak: My team likes to take hits and this deck does not. There have been a couple close calls this campaign. I recommend Hunting Jacket if that is a concern.

I'm off to probably play Parallel Lola through Dream Eaters. Thanks for reading. Have fun!
