The Mark for Forgotten Ages. Multiplayer. Minor Spoilers for certain mechanics and upgraded cards.

This Mark is here to kill all the non-vengeance enemies; and evade the others. If you want increased mobility, use a Shortcut instead of Elusive or a Backpack. In fact, Backpack is there for you to get your guns out of your deck, or an Emergency Cache. I usually prioritize getting a Beat Cop out first, and keep him alive with Trusted and Inspiring Presence. But if there are a lot of vengeance on the board, get out his Trench Coat and evade away. Most of his cards have icons to pitch, and of course, use Sophie. You never want Sophie to flip, so keep healing him with Emergency Aid and Second Wind; use True Grit or First Aid to help out your teammates, or Mark if it gets rough.

Upgrade Paths

I absolutely love Stick to the Plan for Mark, and that's usually the first thing I spend experience on. (Well, after upgrading both Beat Cops.) You want to get Extra Ammunition, Vicious Blow, and only one copy of Custom Ammunition (which will go under Stick to the Plan). Stick to the Plan usually has an Emergency Cache, Extra Ammunition, and a Custom Ammunition. But feel free to swap any of these for your Elusive; so you have an escape always at the ready. Backpack should be the first card removed, probably for the Extra Ammunition. As for his guns, go for your favorite one. I personally build him for the Lightning Gun. If you get the chance, upgrade First Aid and look into "I've had worse…". If you are playing on hard, or have a gun with less than +4, get Reliable. If you keep pulling out the , put an "Eat lead!" under Stick to the Plan, hopefully saving yourself from failure for those tests you need to succeed.

And that's all Mark needs to survive the jungle!
