This is a Minh deck that does the casual investigating stuff, while having the ability to deal very effectively with enemies almost without any help from your teammates. That way, she can just move around getting clues and help others from a distance via Analytical Mind if necessary.
The base concept of the deck is to use the Ancient Stone: Knowledge of the Elders as the main source of damage and fuel it with cards that allow us draw cards without getting atacks of opportunity, while also having support from Lantern. The 3 main cards that allow us to do this are Overpower, Take Heart and Rabbit's Foot. So, how do we use them?
-
Attack a low-fight enemy using Overpower to deal it 1 damage, then trigger Ancient Stone from Overpower's card draw to deal it 1 more damage. You can use Lantern to finish it off if it has 3 health.
-
Attack a 3-or-higher-fight enemy and play Take Heart, fail the test, draw 2 cards from Take Heart and deal it 2 damage with Ancient Stone. You can also trigger Rabbit's Foot for additional card draw and deal it 1 more damage. Then take Take Heart back using Try and Try Again so that you can use it again. Again, you can finish off the enemy with Lantern if necessary.
-
Attack a 2-health enemy and deal it 1 damage either by succeeding, or by failing and triggering Ancient Stone's auto damage with Rabbit's Foot, then finish it off with Lantern.
- Attack a 1-health enemy doing the same as above, or just use Lantern to kill it.
Note that in cases 1 and 2, damage count goes up by 1 if you have Analytical Mind out and in almost all cases, the overall damage can be doubled if you have both Ancient Stones out (usually you will want to have just one, paired with a Lantern on the other hand though)!!
Both Lantern and Ancient Stone can be recovered by Scavenging. The only problem here is that the Ancient Stone does not discard itself after being used up and that's why 1 copy of Magnifying Glass is included. The Magnifying Glass will usually be played to deliberately discard the Ancient Stone after it's been used up, if you also have Lantern on your other hand. This can also be done by playing a second Stone or Lantern, but the Magnifying Glass is fast and cheap and it's another card in the deck that takes up a hand slot (used for that purpose). Note that you may want to discard the Stone before all secrets have been used, so that you refill it and have more secrets available. Also note that while the Magnifying Glass stays in your hand it can also be commited to multiple tests, since it can be recovered by Scavenging. Same can be done with a second copy of Lantern, Rabbit's Foot, or Ancient Stone.
Since Take Heart can be recovered so easily with Try and Try Again, it will be your main Ancient Stone activator, along with Rabbit's Foot. Try and Try Again will be the main target of Resourceful and Take Heart will be the main target of Try and Try Again and with the ability this deck has to recur so much stuff, this can go on and on for the majority of the scenario duration.
Cryptic Research is another source of auto-damage with Ancient Stone, but its main use will be to get the key cards in your hand. You will have so many activators that you don't necessarily need this to be played for Ancient Stone. It could easily be replaced by Preposterous Sketches.
So, while just moving around and doing the casual investigating stuff, you can just kill almost any enemy you encounter without any help at all, as long as you have enough secrets left on your Ancient Stone, while also sitting on a pile of resources gained from multiple Take Heart plays and Dr. Milan Christopher which can be used to fuel your investigates (with Higher Education)!! I'm even hesitent about including Emergency Cache (the only reason it is included in the deck is to help set up this thing faster!) And remember that if you don't need to play these cards for yourself (refering to Overpower, Take Heart and Cryptic Research), you can always play them for someone else!! And note that you can still take back your Take Heart with Try and Try Again even if you play it for a buddy!!
