After looking at decks like this one, I was compelled to try out something similar.

Initially I tried to include 2x Elusive for mobility, but a few test games convinced me that it wasn't worth switching to for without a bunch of other cards to use at the other end. Astral Travel was a better fit for the deck, despite being a less powerful (IMO) card. Baseball Bat is a very effective weapon here - we get to be asset light, avoiding big blowouts from Crisis of Identity, and when it does get destroyed we can recur it with Resourceful.

There's a lot of quick clue generation in here. Since we're going to draw most of the deck, we can Delve Too Deep pretty reliably in early scenarios. Dynamite Blast is a handy way to soften up elite monsters or take out aloof enemies without having to spend extra actions engaging them, which can be pretty handy in a lot of scenarios. Fine Clothes is a twofer, helping Lola's middling stat line against parley tests and protecting her frail body and mind with its damage and horror soaking capabilities.

Quantum Flux is pretty medium in my experience, mostly used for the ? icon. However, there are some scenarios which can run long, or otherwise disrupt your deck in weird ways, so having the option to reshuffle is nice.

The one change I would make to this is to play 2x Shortcut, removing maybe Fight or Flight and 1x Resourceful. On Hard Mode, I'd also try to make room for 2x Inquiring Mind.

General Tips on playing Lola: There are two windows during each skill test, before and after committing cards. This means you can commit Seeker or Mystic cards to a crucial test and then switch to Survivor in case you need to get Lucky! Also note that since Baseball Bat is typically the only asset we care about, it's sometimes smart to switch away from the Survivor role before drawing cards (assuming you don't need to do any other switching until next turn).

As far as upgrades go, I've liked Lucky!, Shrivelling, Shortcut, The Red-Gloved Man, Higher Education, Emergency Cache, Pathfinder, and Scrapper.
