This build start off really strong and gets extremely strong very fast. Idea is to cycle through all your cards once in 3-5 turns and after that cycle through you deck every 1-3 turns. This is possible because of Black Market Double, Double and Easy Mark. This also allow trish to consistently deal damage with "I've got a plan!" which covers a weakness of trish, who is naturally really powerful at evading and getting clues. Have events that deal with everything, including getting teammates resources or any assets with Black Market and "You owe me one!"
-
Strong clue getting right off the bat, can evade anything including elites with Trish Scarborough's ability
-
Pendant of the Queen + Eldritch Sophist + The Red Clock Combo
-
Good Draw Power with Black Market and Easy Mark
-
Deck will become 21 cards once you cycled through it once, realistically when you deck out you will have a hand so there will be 16-17 cards after the shuffle, meaning the 2 Black Market and Double, Double will most likely let you access all your cards in 1-3 rounds. Logical Reasoning help deals with the horror damage
-
5 of your events are fast + Segment of Onyx and all cost 0 or 1 meaning if it shows up on the black market they are basically free draw + play
-
all your event cards except Intel Report are cheap and any investigator can play them and easily targets for Double, Double
-
You can deal with monsters with "I've got a plan!" with double double that is 8 damages, enough to deal with most non elites and seriously damage an elite. Since you can perma evade something with Pendant of the Queen you will be able to deal with some serous threats even if no one else is helping you
-
your resources will ramp up really fast after the first time you cycle through your deck, meaning by round 8-9 you are going to be having 20-30 resources with all your assets played, Well Connected will just keep getting better
Further Upgrade Options
- The Red Clock
- The Black Fan
- Pay Day is good once you have The Black Fan/The Red Clock/Leo De Luca
- Deduction
- Charisma + Leo De Luca/Mr. "Rook"/Lola Santiago/The Red-Gloved Man
- Ace in the Hole, The Gold Pocket Watch, The Skeleton Key
Other Options
- Charon's Obol
- Perception instead of Three Aces cost more exp, more draw power but doesn't thin your deck, if you do this you can keep another copy of Practice Makes Perfect in
- another copy of "I've got a plan!"
- Hot Streak instead of Pay Day
- Leather Coat: fast, you can heal horror but not heal so this is the next best thing if you need more health
- Eon Chart + 2nd Relic Hunter: you do have an Eldritch Sophist that has nowhere to spend his secrets. The Red Clock is a better upgrade and you don't really need the extra actions after that imo, but maybe you are going for the 10-11 resource Pay Day for the lolz
- Versatile + Drawing Thin/Dynamite Blast/Emergency Aid you probably only want to get this is if you are playing a long campaign and ran out of things to spend exp on. Ideally you would want to get more upgraded assets so you don't make your deck bigger after a cycle
Just so you know, Survey the Area doesn't work with Practiced Makes Perfect because it doesn't have any icons while in your deck. Don't know why they made that cycle work like that but they did.
