Hello everyone! Hank is a powerful tank that excels at strength. This would easily make him a very good guardian, since he can also have Innate and Spirit cards. However, in this deck the idea is to play him as a support character. That's why we won't carry nice "guardian" options like Pitchfork, Glory, or Long Shot.

In this version, although still carrying some weapons, we will try to be a tank able to discover some clues, and support the team through the blessing tokens . This comes with a "drawback": since we will be adding to the bag, its less probable to intentionally fail some tests! So powerful cards like Take Heart are less effective, and therefore we won't play them.

In this base deck, we have many cards that make Hank a great tank: Cherished Keepsake, Leather Coat, and Sparrow Mask. Also using Perseverance and Wrong Place, Right Time to keep the Resolute version of Hank survive longer.

We also have some cards to act as a (faithful ) support: "Let me handle this!", Keep Faith, Stand Together and Purified.

Finally, we can discover some clues (definitelly not by investigating at all) with: Gravedigger's Shovel, Mysterious Raven and Guided by Faith.

UPGRADES

The idea is that you can specialize in either of the three paths explained before: as a tank, as a support, or as a seeker.

Tank: With allies like Peter Sylvestre (2), Jessica Hyde (1) or "Devil" (2). You can get pretty tanky!

To improve your damage you can add Brute Force (1), Radiant Smite (1), Hatchet (1) and the Baseball Bat (2).

Support: The idea with this upgrades is to go along the path of the blessed. With Providential (2) and Spirit of Humanity (2), you can include more tokens in the bag, which you can combo with A Watchful Peace (3).

Also, a very powerful combo for survivors using the blessed mechanic is to get Ancient Covenant (2) or Beloved and Favor of the Sun (1), giving a great combo for securing tests!

You can also act as a healer with Manipulate Destiny (2) or Bandages, although I think it's not worth at all.

Seeker: With such a low base value for investigating, there are not many options. That being said, there are two powerful upgrades: Lesson Learned (2) and upgrading Gravedigger's Shovel (2).

SUMMARY

Overall, this deck is probably not the most ideal for Hank Samson, but it is actually a fun way of using the mechanic with a survivor. Since he can access Innate and Spirit cards, he has some fun potential as a Faithful Support, making him a fun and flexible character to play along friends.

Interesting deck. Do you think it would be compatible with other characters who rely in blessings?

@rivian16 The cool thing about Hank is that he is a Survivor with access to Spirit and Innate cards. Thanks to that he has access to some powerful blessing cards. That being said, similar decks could be created for other investigators for sure!
