Deck used in a limited pool Dunwich Legacy campaign with 3 players (Daisy Walker, Carolyn Fern and "Ashcan" Pete).

Slot redundancy was cut to a minimum to increase mid-late game deck efficiency while increasing early game card variety and skill presence. Only one In the Thick of It was available for the party, so an analysis on a 3 XP start was not conducted.

The deck focuses on healing horror to generate resources for the party, Fight actions, and general utility. As such, the sole weapon chosen was Meat Cleaver, as it provides +1 (+2 in a pinch) and +1 damage at the cost of 1 horror, which she can then heal by killing the enemy or with the rest of her kit to generate resources. This makes the weapon a compact damage and resource source. The other hand asset used is Archive of Conduits, as the upgraded Archive of Conduits turns into a steady source of damage and horror healing for the party. The fact it occupies a single deck slot and provides makes it passable even in scenarios where identifying the gateway is hard or impossible.

To compensate for the use of a small amount of weapons and low draw power in the deck (as counting on Daisy Walker to help draw is not guaranteed), Shrivelling is included, as her is higher than her , it enables the use of skills over skills (which both her deck and the overall party pack a higher density of), and, if a , , , or symbol is revealed, the downside is 1 horror, which she can heal to gain resources, turning a possible downside into a resource advantage.

The accessory slot is dedicated to Hallowed Mirror, as Soothing Melody allows for flexible healing of damage or horror (thus possibly generating resources), and cantrips.

Lonnie Ritter is chosen as a good Level 0 ally that provides +1 and a lot of soak. At the moment the party does not run items that can soak damage, but upgrades into items like Bulletproof Vest are planned, which will make her more valuable in later scenarios, as her ability then heals 1 damage and 1 horror while being resource neutral. Peter Sylvestre is also slotted in as an alternative that, if Charisma is later chosen, naturally slots into the 2nd ally slot, while providing a steady source of horror healing (and thus, resource generation) until Lonnie Ritter is found (or should she be discarded), while also providing +1 to help Evade enemies in a pinch. Medical Student is used as an additional source of damage and horror healing that can also soak until better allies are found and played.

Due to her large resource generation, she greatly benefits from Physical Training to boost her , which helps with treachery skill checks and succeeding in using Shrivelling, and , which helps in using Meat Cleaver and boosts her low base . Due to her role as a cleric, Safeguard helps maintain her action economy by refunding her move actions towards other investigators once they move to a new location.

Delve Too Deep is an automatic include in a deck for the added Victory points. Both Emergency Cache and Stand Together aid in resource generation , with the latter benefitting another investigator (given her cleric role, her being in the same location as another investigator should already be a common occurrence). Hypnotic Gaze aids with the party's low focus on , and to handle massive enemies. Ward of Protection both deals with bad treachery cards and deals horror damage that can be healed to refund the card's cost.

For skills, Fearless helps heal additional horror while providing valuable , Steadfast works as a Guts that also helps in Fight actions, as, due to her high starting 14 total health and sanity, maintaining the state should be the norm, and even the state should be easy to achieve, at the cost of the card draw. The card's added versatility was deemed to be an asset, a decision to be carried over into the inclusion of Unexpected Courage, which also provides for both investigations (thus aiding in identifying the gateway for Archive of Conduits) and to use her Hypnotic Therapy action, and for the odd required check. Vicious Blow provides reach to finish off enemies with inconvenient amounts of health.

Upgrades:

1st scenario - 5 experience earned:

+1 Charisma - A boost to the number of allies capable of being fielded, available for free at the start of the scenario, is deemed to be a good investment for a deck that already slotted 2 good Level 0 allies for mid-late game value.

+1 Protective Gear - A source of damage and horror soak that does not need an already reserved asset slot, enables Lonnie Ritter's ability, and provides protection against certain treacheries, is deemed to be a good early addition to the deck.

-1 Medical Student - The extra heal and soak this card provided early game are replaced by Protective Gear's superior soak and abilities once played, and the enabling of Lonnie Ritter's healing engine.

2nd scenario - 6 experience earned:

+2 Sweeping Kick - The extra fight option, on top of an easier evade, was deemed to be very helpful for an investigator that struggles on both regards.

+2 Earthly Serenity - As a way to heal both health and sanity rather fast, while then providing a buffer slot that can be discarded if needed to a treachery or chaos bag effect, this card was deemed a great inclusion to the deck.

+1 Emergency Cache - The added draw greatly benefits this deck, as it greatly lacks in that regard, and Daisy Walker is currently pivoting away from extra draw from the party Tome assets.

-2 Shrivelling - The Arcane asset slot is better filled by Earthly Serenity, and the Fight action is better provided by Sweeping Kick.

-1 Safeguard - The move is situational and requires the card to be drawn and played first, which, when compounded with the fact that, at Level 0, this card can't abuse the massive movement from cards like Sled Dog, means this was a safe cut.

-1 Medical Student - The healing it provided is now better provided by Earthly Serenity, and the Ally slot redundancy is thus minimized with this cut.

3rd scenario - 7 experience earned:

+1 Hallowed Mirror - The added shuffling in particular is very useful in a deck that both desires a high density of cantrips and sources of horror healing, while the +1 healing can be used in emergency situations.

+2 Gang Up - At 2 different classes it already provides +2 and +2 damage, surpassing [Meat Cleaver] (/card/05114); with the addition of hybrid assets like Protective Gear and Earthly Serenity in particular, reaching 3 classes should be relatively easy, making the event a great attack to, when combined with Vicious Blow, deal heavy damage to dangerous or high health enemies. Finding Archive of Conduits and Lonnie Ritter would make the card one of the best attacks in the game.

+1 Emergency Cache - Upgrading the 2nd copy provides added draw to help find key cards, and synergizes well with the upgraded Hallowed Mirror.

-2 Hypnotic Gaze - As the party has now acquired multiple sources of soak, and Carolyn Fern herself has added more Fight options to her arsenal, this very expensive option is no longer required.
